SailGP Season 2 ended on a positive note for Great Britain SailGP Team with the team finishing in second place both in the San Francisco Sail Grand Prix, the final event of the season, and in SailGP’s Podium for the Planet, the Impact League. The SailGP Season 2 Grand Final meanwhile was won in dramatic fashion by Tom Slingsby’s Australia SailGP Team after the race was initially abandoned and delayed significantly due to a whale on the course.
